Tutorials on adding clothing to Morpheus

I found two tutorials to help me add clothes to the Morpheus rig so I can continue customising it to fit my character designs.

This first tutorial shows how to re texture the mesh.

This second tutorial however shows how to add geometry to the rig using a script which is included. This will be extremely useful if I can get it working.

Athletic Mime out of Morpheus

I made a start on altering the morpheus rig to better fit my designs. so far the structure is looking well however I need to find out how I can add clothing to the rig.

Skinny Mime: Body Ideas

I came up with a few variations on body ideas for the skinny mime. I like the design on the left but prefer the lower body of the middle design.

Athetetic Mime: Body Ideas

I tried a few variations on the body shape for the athletic mime. I like the lankiness and costume of the right design however I think the larger arms of the middle design work better.

Mime Face Ideas

I started my character design process by coming up with several character face ideas for the mimes faces. So far my favourites are the top left and the bottom right. The top left would work well for the skinnier character and the bottom right looks good as an idea for the athletic character.

Character Moodboards

I created a couple of moodboards for character reference, one including real life mimes and one of various mime rigs, either original or modified from a free rig. I will soon be moving on to designing my two characters so this should provide valuable reference.

Curtain Simulation Tutorial

I found a good tutorial on making an nCloth curtain and constraining it to a curtain pole in maya. While I looked at several options including soft body techniques and dynamic bone chains I've decided that nCloth is the best choice both in terms of the quality of the end result and in terms of ease of implementation.
